We’re proud to announce that we have joined the Content Marketing Association for marketing, publishing, advertising and social agencies.

The move comes as Submerge has grown rapidly since launch, and underscores its commitment to content marketing excellence and transparency. The Content Marketing Association (CMA) champions content marketing across all channels, and is dedicated to promoting content marketing and showcasing its effectiveness.

The CMA is the industry association for the £5bn content marketing industry in the UK, and offers events, training and research to help businesses use content effectively as part of their marketing mix. It was formed in 1993 as the APA, and today aims to drive best practice, innovation and storytelling to promote branded content to a global audience.

Content marketing association code of practice

Submerge’s membership of the CMA means it adheres to the CMA’s industry code of practice. This means you can be confident Submerge’s content meets professional industry standards, including being part of a complaints process that clients can use to resolve disputes.

The code of practice also means Submerge transparently endeavours to ensure that all work is produced to the highest possible standard in accordance with client marketing and financial objectives.

Read the CMA code of practice for more information.

Content marketing research

The CMA is also at the forefront of content marketing insights and research in the UK. It produces annual reports on the state of content marketing in the UK, such as it’s annual content marketing trends report. Research is available to non-members to help support wider adoption and effective use of content marketing across business sectors.
